  Obituary	Mrs. Anna A. McCreery was born in the town of Victor, Cayuga Co., N.Y. March 24, 1836 and died at the home in Bunker Hill Septemeber 18, 1924, aged 88 years, 6 months and 21 days. She came to Michigan with her parents in 1844. On November 12, 1854 she was united in marriage to Lawrence H. McCreery who preceded her to the Better Land 11 years ago. To this union were born four children of whom survive Fred at the old home, Mrs. George Wainwright of Jackson and Arthur, also of Jackson. Her youngest daughter, Mrs. May Ford, passed away January 27, 1924. Fifteen grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters also remain to mourn their loss. She was a loyal Christian, a faithful member of the UB church of Bunker Hill. Her kindly manner, helpful spirit and Christian character endeared her to all who knew her and she will be missed in the house and in the community. Funeral services were held at the first UB church in Bunker Hill September 20 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. J. K. Batdorf officiating and assisted by Rev. Lester Scott. Six grandsons acted as pall bearers. Burial in the Fitchburg cemetery beside her husband.
