  Dora Matilda Sather 12/13/1914 - 01/16/2015 Dora Matilda Sather passed away on January 16, 2015 at Auburn Ravine Terrace in Auburn, California. She was born December 13, 1914 in Carpenter, North Dakota. She had just celebrated her 100th birthday. She married Irvin Sather in 1945 and they were happily married for 64 years. They lived in Auburn for 54 years. Dora taught school at Bowman Elementary for 17 years. She belonged to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Sons of Norway, Mount Vernon Grange and Retired Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Ena, Johanna, Esther and Sophia; four brothers, Arthur, Elmer, Leonard and Hadley; husband Irvin and son in law Roger Floyd. She leaves behind her daughter, Lori Floyd, three grandsons, Ryan (Charity), Timothy (Marina), and Daniel; seven great grandchildren, Roman, Madison, Jackson, Logan, Carson, Kolton and Charleigh, also many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Auburn Ravine Terrace for all Dora's care. Funeral service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1279 High Street, Auburn, CA on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow at the New Auburn Cemetery.
