  Irvin Theodore Sather left his earthly family and returned to his heavenly family March 5th peacefully with his family gathered beside him. He was born to Hans and Nellie Sather on February 13th, 1914 in Fortuna, North Dakota. After moving to Bigfork, MN, he met the love of his life on a frozen lake iceskating. He and Dora were blessed with 66 years of marriage. They moved to Auburn in July of 1961 where they lived until moving to Auburn Ravine Terrace where they shared a room together. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church; Mount Vernon Grange; SIRS; Men in Mission; Sons of Norway. He was preceeded in death by his mother and father Hans and Nellie Sather, brothers Harold, Norman, Adolf, sisters Alice, Doris, and Mabel. He is survived by his wife Dora Sather, brother-in-law Hadley Jenson, daughter Lori Floyd (Roger Floyd), grandsons Ryan Floyd (Charity), Timothy Floyd (Marina) and Daniel Floyd. Five great-grandsons Roman, Jackson, Carson, Logan and Kolton and one special great-granddaughter, Madison, and numerous nieces and nephews. Irvin loved the lord and his family. With his strong handshake, his warm smile, and gentle spirit, he will be forever missed. A viewing will take place at Chapel of the Hills on Wednesday, March 9th from 5-7pm. Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 10th at 12:30 pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with a graveside service at New Auburn Cemetery to follow. Arrangements under the direction of Chapel of the Hills, Auburn, CA.
