  Marguerite Benson, 92, Garden City, KS, formerly of Talmoon, died Saturday, April 2, 1988 in St. Catherine's Hospital in Garden City. She was born in Nevada, MO and grew up and attended schools in Garden City. She lived in the Talmoon area from 1958 until she returned to Garden City in 1980. Her husband, Burton, died in 1980. She is survived by a brother, Rupert Matthews of Twetynine Palms, CA and two sisters, Ruth Taylor of Garden City and Grace Btown of San Pedro, CA. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. services Saturday in the Jessie Lake Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Jessie Lake Township. Local arrangements are by Carroll Funeral Home in Deer River.
