  The Kenyon Leader
  "Mrs. Marie Heltne Saturday, occurred the death of Mrs. Marie Heltne, at her home in this village. She was born in Orkedalen sogn, in Norway, October 12th, 1842. In 1875 she came to this country and became a resident of Steele county. Here she was married to Peter Heltne and they made their home on a farm near Moland, in Steele county. Her husband preceded her in death, and there are no surviving children. Last fall the deceased moved to Kenyon together with her mother and a brother, Martin J. Quale. She had been in poor health for a number of years. Besides the mother and her brother mentioned, she is survived by two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. H. Brekke, Moland; Mrs. Ole G. Malvik, Faribault; Severt Quale, Steele county, and Ole J. Quale, who reside in Canada. Funeral services were held yesterday from the house in Kenyon at 10:30 o'clock in the forenoon, and later at the Norwegian Lutheran church in Moland. Interment was made in the cemetery at Moland church, Rev. S. O. Simundson officiating."
