Robt. Benson Dies; Burial to Be in Iowa Funeral services for Robert T. Benson, 84, of 305 2nd Ave. N. E., will be held Thursday from the Pfaif Funeral Chapel at 7:30 p.m., with the Rev. John W. Stedman of the Waseca Congregational church in charge. Burial will be Friday at Mitchellville, Iowa. Mr. Benson died Monday evening following a three weeks' illness. He was born in Knoxville, Iowa, October 29, 1876, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Benson. On October 10, 1898, he married Lizzie Agnes Elliott of Mitchellville, Iowa. She died on March 16, 1932. On June 15, he married Martha Irene Klampe of Waldorf. The couple moved to Waseca county where Mr. Benson farmed. Mrs. Benson died on June 6, 1950. Survivors are two sons, Arlie Earl Benson, Waseca; and Harley H. Benson, Tracy, California; ten grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and two brothers, G. C. Benson, Hastings, Neb., and E.B. Benson, Des Moines. Iowa.
