  Obituary	Mary McCreery was born to James and Ellen Cassidy Cavender Feb. 20, 1863 in Bunker HIll township. On January 1, 1881 she was united in marriage to Fred McCreery, who passed away Sept. 28, 1928. Since his death she made her home with her nephew Fred Ford. When her health failed she went to the Friendly Home in Jackson. Monday morning she fell and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Jackson where she passed away April 14, 1948. She leaves one brother and two sisters, Felix Cavender and Elizabeth Brady of Stockbridge and Ella Dutton of Jackson, a large number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at St. John's church, Jackson, April 17th with burial in the Fitchburg cemtery beside her husband.
