  DIED At Wildwood, June 23rd, 1891, Mrs. Matilda C. Berry, wife of John W. Berry aged 40 years. She was a woman greatly beloved by all her neighbors and friends for her pleasant manners; always having a smile for those in prosperity and a sympathizing tear and a ready hand for those in distress. Her sickness, although long and painful, was endured with patienced and in her last few days she had a smile and a pleasant word for those around her. Her funeral was held at the Mentor school house, the sermon being preached by Rev. H. J. Johnson, and her remains were followed to the cemetery at Indian River by a large procession of neighhbors, whose loving hands performed the last sad duties due the dead. The mourning family have the sympathy of the entire community.
