  Mrs. Gertrude Quale Mrs. Gertrude Quale, of this village, departed this life at the very ripe, old age of more than 100 years. She was born in Throndjem, Norway, August 27, 1815. Deceased married in the old country in 1842. Her husband's name was John Quale, who died 12 years ago. They came to this country in 1873 and were residents of the vicinity of Moland. The later years deceased made her home in Kenyon. Surviving her are three sons and a daughter: Martin Quale, Kenyon; Ole Quale, Birch Hills, Canada; Sever Quale, Moland; Mrs. Hans Brekke, Harlem, Montana. The last rites for the deceased will be held at thier late home at 10 o'clock Monday morning, followed by services in Moland Norwegian Lutheran Church. Interment will take place at Moland.
